Is the Library available now?
Skills are live at
/library/skills. Previews are public; full text and downloads are for members. Field notes, prompts, templates, and build logs ship next, shaped by what the Club asks for.
Will there be a structured course?
Eventually. We'll build it inside the Club, where members tell us which lessons matter most. Founding members will get it free or at deep discount when it ships.
What does my membership include?
Discord access (minimum 12 months), every Library drop while you're a member, member pricing on workshops once they launch, and first access to whatever the Club helps us decide to build next.
What it doesn't include: 1:1 advisory, project work, or anything that lives on the consulting side. Those are separately scoped.
Why open a founding sale before the course exists?
Because the alternative — building a course in a vacuum and hoping it lands — is how most of these projects fail. Selling a low-cost founding pass to a high-signal community is the fastest way to find out which workshops, lessons, and tools are actually worth building.
How long do I have access?
Minimum 12 months — that's the floor we guarantee. In practice access runs as long as the Club does, which we expect to be considerably longer. We'd rather under-promise the term than slap "lifetime" on it and box ourselves in.
Why isn't there a monthly subscription?
Because a founding window with a 12-month minimum is the unit of commitment that maps to the work we're doing. We may add a public-access subscription later. If we do, founding members get preferred pricing on it.
Will I get direct access to Josh?
Inside the Club, yes — Josh is in the rooms, posting field notes, answering questions, and shipping with the group. 1:1 advisory work is separately priced through /advisory.
Who is this for?
Founders and senior engineers who are actively shipping with AI and want a small high-signal room to compare notes, swap workflows, and get early access to the resources Josh is publishing.
Who is this not for?
If you're looking for a 'how to use ChatGPT' course or a strategy PDF, this isn't it. If you want generic AI tutorials or a Discord with thousands of members, this isn't it either.
Refund policy?
If the Club isn't useful in the first 30 days, email hello@initialcommit.co and we'll refund you. After that, the founding pass is non-refundable. A refund ends your Discord access.
Can I get my pass for free?
Refer three builders. Each one who joins refunds a third of what you paid, back to your card, 30 days after they buy. Referrals count while founding tiers are open. Your link is in your account.
